Tokens (4) This group contains four molded terracotta clay donation tokens issued for the Winterhilfswerk (WHW) street collections during the Third Reich era. Belonging to a collection series celebrating traditional German fairy tales and folklore, the lot features two character busts and two animals. The figures comprise a stylized profile caricature bust, a bearded wizard or woodsman in a brown cap, a "Hedgehare" (Igelhas) climbing a leafy branch, and a seated robin or songbird with painted grey-blue plumage. Each piece is finished with hand-painted enamel accents. The reverse side of three items retains functional horizontal safety pins embedded into a circular clay or adhesive base. The wizard figure displays an exposed reverse mounting site with residual adhesive where the pin assembly has detached over time. The enameled surfaces show age-appropriate wear, edge scuffing, and minor paint loss. Individual pieces measure approximately 1.25 to 1.5 inches in height. OT
