This black pebble-grained photo album features prominent gold-colored motifs on the cover and a leather strap binding. Inside are 162 photographs on 22 double sided pages from the German Red Cross (DRK) and nursing services during the Third Reich (1933-1945). The album documents significant moments, including nurse oaths, flag parades, railway station activities, and public ceremonies involving female paramilitary service. Group portraits and on-duty scenes capture interactions with wounded personnel and uniformed DRK members at transit centers, providing a visual record of organizational function and social structure during the era. All photos are mounted on thick black pages, and the album is well-preserved. Some photographs in this album may be vintage photographic copies rather than original copies. PM
