This is a dark brown textured "Meine Dienstzeit" (My Time in Service) photo album measuring approximately 12 x 9 inches, documenting a German soldier's military service during the Third Reich period. The album contains 111 black-and-white photographs featuring a large formal unit portrait, barracks at Chemnitz-Ebersdorf, military trucks and passenger vehicles, field exercises, comrades, recreational outings, civilian encounters, and camp life. Additional images show Luftwaffe aircraft flying in formation during public displays or exercises. Photographs are neatly mounted on heavy cardstock pages with handwritten captions throughout. The string-bound album remains complete with light wear consistent with age. Some photographs in this album may be vintage photographic copies rather than original copies. PM
