Original Le Petit Journal Supplément Illustré newspaper dated October 22, 1899 (Dimanche 22 Octobre 1899, No. 466) from France. This listing includes the complete original newspaper, not just the front page. The newspaper remains intact with all original pages and was discovered in the vintage wooden frame shown. The issue features the dramatic full-color cover titled "Les Facteurs en Automobiles" (Postal Workers in Automobiles), an early illustration depicting French postal carriers using motorized vehicles during the dawn of the automobile era. Also included inside the newspaper is the striking full-color illustration "Corrida Tragique Aux Environs de Paris," depicting a tragic bullfighting scene near Paris, along with period articles, advertisements, maps, and illustrations throughout. The newspaper is being sold with the original vintage wooden frame it was found in. It has been carefully removed only for photography to document the complete contents. The paper shows expected age-related toning, edge wear, and some small tears consistent with a newspaper that is more than 125 years old. The frame also shows normal wear from age.
