Vintage National Brand Basket Fired Japan Tea advertising tin featuring an attractive olive-green finish with a Capitol building graphic on the front. Distributed by Geo. Rasmussen Co., this original 4-ounce tea tin also features brewing directions and promotional information on the reverse, making it a wonderful example of early grocery and tea advertising. The tin retains its original lid and displays very well with expected signs of age, including light scratches, scuffs, edge wear, and minor patina consistent with vintage use. The graphics and lettering remain crisp, making this an excellent display piece for collectors of antique tea tins, vintage advertising, farmhouse décor, or country store memorabilia.
