This German military field telephone features a molded black Bakelite housing with a side-mounted hand-crank generator, integrated handset, and original cloth-covered wiring. Markings on the underside include "16. Komp.", indicating assignment to the 16th Company. The base retains traces of period paint, while the handset and internal contact points display additional construction details, including brass components within the earpiece. Condition shows expected service wear, including surface scuffs, finish loss, and a visible crack to the Bakelite casing. Measures approximately 7.5 inches long and weighs approximately 5.4 pounds (2,485 grams). Operation has not been tested.
