1939 Original WWII German Feldfernsprecher 33 (FF33) field telephone housed in a brown Bakelite case with metal hardware. The case is marked "05993 KuS 1939" and bears the Mix & Genest shield. The detachable handset is marked “SABA 1939” and retains its cloth-covered cord. Also present are the hand crank, plug connectors, labeled terminals, bell mechanism, German phonetic alphabet card, and interior circuit diagrams. The unit bears military acceptance and inspection markings throughout. Condition shows expected operational wear, including surface marks, finish wear, and oxidation to portions of the metal hardware. Measures approximately 10.5 x 8.5 x 3.5 inches and weighs 11.9 pounds. A well-preserved example of German Wehrmacht field communications equipment with desirable dated manufacturer markings and strong display appeal. SC
