German Siemens SAF 1936 field telephone housed in a molded phenolic resin carrying case. The unit retains its Bakelite handset, cloth-covered cords, brass and copper connectors, hand-crank generator, connection terminals, and interior instruction and circuit plaques. Siemens branding, serial number 10543, and the SAF 1936 model designation are present. The case and components show expected scratches, scuffs, finish wear, and age-related patina consistent with military use and storage. Measures approximately 10.5 x 8.5 x 3.5 inches and weighs 12.2 pounds. A well-preserved example of German field communication equipment with strong historical and display appeal. SC
