This reproduction German M16 style steel helmet shell features two side ventilation lugs, an extended front visor, and a flared rear apron. Finished in a matte dark charcoal paint coat, the exterior displays small drill holes above the lower rim. The stripped interior reveals a repainted gray cavity lined with fiberglass mesh patch repairs and adhesives along internal stress points, leaving no original manufacturer stamps visible. Both the leather liner system and chinstrap assembly are missing. This piece offers a project shell or display base for reenactment assembly, showing light handling marks, surface scuffs, and minor edge wear throughout. OT
