Tailored from charcoal gray wool, this West German Zivilschutz (Civil Defense) service tunic features a four-pocket front, a five-button placket, and pebbled silver-tone buttons. The upper left sleeve bears a round blue-and-white ZS civil defense patch. An interior maker label reads "Pfennig & Hoppe GmbH" with contract stamping "AUFTR. 45/68 Bund-ZS" dating production to 1968, along with size mark 52. The chest measures 44 inches. Overall condition shows light storage creasing, minor surface lint, and light handling wear. There is residue on the right sleeve from a patch being glued on which is no longer there. BP
