Large 1935 softcover photographic volume, Die unsterbliche Landschaft: Die Fronten des Weltkrieges XI, Die Aisne-Champagne-Front ("The Immortal Landscape: The Battlefronts of the World War XI, The Aisne-Champagne Front"), published by Bibliographisches Institut AG in Leipzig. This volume is a part of a German retrospective series on World War I fronts, reflecting 1935 Leipzig printing conventions. Edited by Erich Otto Volkmann, this interwar publication features extensive WWI trench and battlefield photography specific to the Aisne-Champagne sector, with original period Gothic typography and consistent age toning throughout.
