Six Indian Brass Cordial Goblets

A set of six matching brass goblets or cordial cups. Each vessel is designed with a flared rim, a bell-shaped bowl, and a turned stem featuring a single central knop, resting on a circular, slightly stepped foot. The exteriors exhibit a polished brass finish, while the interiors are lined with a silver-coloured metallic plating. The underside of the base is stamped with the marks ANS and INDIA. These pieces were finished on a lathe, indicated by a central indentation on the base. Height approx. 12.7 cm (5 inches) measured against a tape measure. Condition: The set is in fair condition with visible signs of age and use. There is surface tarnish, oxidation spotting, and a developed patina across the brass exteriors. The interior silver plating shows wear and darkening. One goblet features a prominent horizontal crack or deep scratch to the exterior of the bowl.
