A five-piece collection of decorative metalware comprising a graduated pair of tall brass candlesticks, two chalices, and a candle snuffer. The brass candlesticks are designed with fluted columnar shafts and weighted, stepped circular bases, topped with circular drip pans and cylindrical nozzles. The two brass chalices possess a polished gold-tone finish and are embellished with a raised, applied ornamental band depicting a grape and vine motif. The chalices stand on turned stems with flared circular bases and feature stamped marks to the interior underside of the base, including the word MADE. The candle snuffer is constructed from white metal, featuring a hinged bell extinguisher on a slender rod with a turned bulbous handle. Dimensions measured against a tape measure: Taller Candlestick: H approx. 22.5 inches Shorter Candlestick: H approx. 18.5 inches Chalices: H approx. 7 inches Candle Snuffer: L approx. 13.5 inches. Condition: The items are in used condition with visible signs of age. Significant green verdigris corrosion is present at the junction of the fluted shaft and base on one of the candlesticks. Red candle wax residue is noted on the drip pan of the shorter candlestick. All pieces exhibit surface tarnishing, spotting, and minor abrasions, with the chalices showing wear and pitting to the polished finish.
