A collection of five woven baskets of various sizes, styles, and materials. The group features a large, bright red painted wicker basket with a high, twisted arched handle and a flared rim. A dark brown stained wicker basket with a single handle is nested within the red basket. The collection includes a large, heavy-gauge dark brown basket, possibly seagrass or thick rattan, featuring substantial wooden side handles. Nested inside this is a smaller, natural-coloured wicker basket with integrated handles. Also included is a novelty figural basket woven in the form of a turkey, complete with a red-painted wattle and dark bead eyes. The items display a variety of weaving techniques, from standard wicker to thick corded textures. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): Red basket height (to top of handle): approx. 42 cm Largest dark brown basket diameter: approx. 35.5 cm. Condition: The collection is in good overall condition with minor surface wear, dust, and light abrasions consistent with age and domestic use. There are no significant breaks, losses to the weaving, or structural damage apparent.
