A three-piece collection of decorative clear glass. The lidded jar is of faceted hexagonal form, featuring an overall pressed diamond-point pattern to the body and tiered lid. The lid is surmounted by a faceted spire finial, and the interior base displays a radiating starburst design. The pair of matching bowls is decorated in the pinwheel or whirling star pattern, centred by a six-pointed star at the base with radiating starburst motifs and smaller multi-pointed stars within diamond-cut fields. Each bowl is finished with a scalloped sawtooth rim. Small red markings are present on the bases of the bowls, likely remnants of previous adhesive labels. Dimensions: Lidded jar: Height approx. 29.2 cm Bowls: Diameter approx. 22.8 cm. Condition: The glass is clear throughout with no evidence of sick glass or permanent cloudiness. No major chips or cracks are visible. The pressed patterns are crisp and well-defined. Minor surface wear and faint scratches consistent with domestic use are present on the underside of the bases.
