This lot comprises two contemporary ceramic serving items. The first is a condiment or hors d'oeuvres set by Verdici, consisting of three white glazed comma-shaped dishes designed to nest together. These sit upon a circular black-finished base equipped with two chrome-plated wire handles. One dish retains an original Verdici label. The second item is a large, shallow bowl constructed from black glazed ceramic, possibly stoneware, with a matt finish. The body is pierced with numerous circular holes arranged in decorative groupings, suggesting use as a fruit bowl or colander for drainage. It stands on a raised foot with an unglazed rim that shows illegible stamped or incised markings. Diameter of bowl approx. 29.2 cm Width of tray across handles approx. 21.6 cm. Condition: Both pieces are in good overall condition. The Verdici set is free from visible chips, cracks, or restoration. The black bowl is structurally sound, showing only minor surface wear and shelf wear to the unglazed foot rim.
