A mid-20th century colonial revival rocking chair in the American Windsor style. The chair is constructed from stained hardwood and features a high comb-back design with a shaped crest rail positioned above seven tapered spindles. Two curved armrests are each supported by two spindles. The solid wood seat includes an incised decorative border and is joined to four splayed legs with turned H-form stretchers. The piece is finished in a medium wood tone. Condition: The chair is in good, structurally sound condition. There is visible finish wear and thinning consistent with regular use, particularly on the armrests, the front edge of the seat, and the rockers. Minor surface scratches, dings, and small white paint splatters on the seat are present.
