This lot is a piece of Marshall Pottery from the Yesteryears line, made in Marshall Texas. The bottom carries the blue Yesteryears Hand Turned Made in USA Marshall Texas stamp. It is a rounded crock or utensil style jar in a cream glaze, decorated on the front with a colorful Prickly Pear cactus transfer and banner. It stands about six inches tall. Condition is good with a bright glaze, some light staining to the underside, and normal handling wear. Marshall Pottery is a long running Texas stoneware maker popular with Southwest and country kitchen collectors, and similar Yesteryears pieces generally sell in the fifteen to thirty five dollar range.
