This is a 1920s E.I.H. Co. (Horsman) "Dimples" crier doll, measuring 19 inches in height. The doll features a composition head, arms, and legs with molded blond painted hair, open mouth with painted lips, and sleep eyes. The body is cloth, and the original crier mechanism is present and works frequently. The doll is dressed in a vintage white cotton gown with lace trim and socks. Condition includes areas of paint loss and wear, especially to the lower legs and feet, and some fabric discoloration and minor damages at the joints. The maker's mark "E.I.H. CO. INC." is embossed onto the back of the neck. **SHIPPING NOT RECOMMENDED Shipping is not recommended for this doll due to the extremely delicate sleep eye mechanism.
