This Heinrich Handwerck 16 inch doll features a bisque head a d shoulders marked on the back, set on a vintage kid leather body with jointed limbs. The doll wears replaced mohair wig styled in braids and comes dressed in appropriate period-style clothing including a flower-patterned dress, lace-trimmed undergarments, socks, and shoes. Close inspection reveals the left thumb is chipped. The kid leather body shows typical signs of handling and age, with some discoloration and wear visible, especially to the arms and knees. The face displays painted features, sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth, and blushed cheeks.
