This early china head doll stands 18 inches tall and features a glossy porcelain head, hands, and lower legs, each finely detailed and painted, with black molded hair and blue eyes. The doll is marked with an "R" on the back of its china shoulders, a notable attribute for collectors. She is dressed in mostly sewn-on period-style clothing, including a velvet-and-satin cape, with undergarments that are not sewn on. The body appears to be a replaced vintage cloth type, consistent with the doll???s age and preservation. This piece embodies classic craftsmanship from its era. **Shipping Notice: Due to the delicate nature of the doll's sleep eye mechanism, any shipped doll will arrive with the wig and skull cap removed, and the eyes secured to help minimize the risk of damage during transit. Please expect this if you require shipping. Because of the additional time and care required to prepare the doll for safe shipment, an additional handling fee may apply. These dolls are exceptionally fragile, and while we take the greatest care in packing and securing every item, shipping always carries an inherent risk. By requesting shipping, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of damage that may occur during transit.
