This beautiful and highly collectible antique Welsch & Co. mold 210 German bisque doll dates back to the early 20th century, circa 1910–1920s, and stands approximately 14.5 inches tall. She features an incised "Welsch Made in Germany 210" hallmarked on the back of her neck, indicating her authenticity as a Welsch & Co. collaboration. Her delicately tinted bisque porcelain head is detailed with open glass sleep eyes and tiny upper teeth, preserving the charm of classic German character dolls. The head appears intact, with no obvious cracks. She is outfitted in replaced yet meticulously hand-done vintage clothing, including a striking two-tier green dress with black trim, a matching hair bow, undergarments, socks, and shoes. The body, made of composition and wood, is jointed and displays light but widespread paint cracking, paint flaking, and structural wear typical for dolls of this era. The wig has been replaced with a fresh mohair example mimicking the original style.
