This antique 12-inch Schoenau & Hoffmeister doll, marked Germany 1909 and size 7/0, is distinguished by a hand-painted bisque porcelain head featuring glass eyes (now fixed), an open mouth with teeth, and a newly added curly mohair wig. A visible hairline crack runs down the side back of the neck. The doll is professionally restored according to the current owner and wears a vintage houndstooth dress with a black velvet sash, matching bow, black patent shoes, and socks, presented on a wooden stand. The composition body displays surface wear, including areas of paint loss, scuffing, and cracks visible on the arms and legs, as seen in photos.
