This 9-inch antique German Armand Marseille Mold 390 doll represents late 19th to early 20th-century craftsmanship. The bisque head features a distinctive open mouth with tiny teeth and fixed glass eyes, giving it an expressive, lifelike appearance. The head retains a styled blonde human hair wig, resting above delicately painted facial details and distinctive orange-strapped shoes painted directly onto the composition lower legs. The doll is on its original five-piece composition body with jointed limbs and lace-trimmed period attire. Impressed maker’s mark is visible on the back. Collectors will appreciate its authenticity, charm, and display presence. May have had some restoration. **Shipping Notice: Due to the delicate nature of the doll's sleep eye mechanism, any shipped doll will arrive with the wig and skull cap removed, and the eyes secured to help minimize the risk of damage during transit. Please expect this if you require shipping. Because of the additional time and care required to prepare the doll for safe shipment, an additional handling fee may apply. These dolls are exceptionally fragile, and while we take the greatest care in packing and securing every item, shipping always carries an inherent risk. By requesting shipping, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of damage that may occur during transit.
