Antique Grace Storey Putnam "Bye-Lo Baby" doll, notable for its composition head and fabric body. The doll displays significant age-related wear, evident in the fine crazing, deep hairline fractures, and surface grime on the face, especially near the molded hairline and cheeks. The painted red lips show minor scuffing. Its sleep eyes, which reveal a green hue, exhibit substantial clouding and iris degradation and do not fully close when upright. The doll comes with its original lace bonnet and an ensemble of vintage christening gown and accessories, all showing discoloration and typical patina of age. Loose stitching is present at the neck seam, and both the hands and other exposed paintwork have surface crazing. This is an authentic example from Grace Storey Putnam, as marked on the neck of the doll.
