This 13-inch antique German bisque doll is a desirable example of the Ernst Heubach mold number 275, produced in Köppelsdorf, Germany, between 1900 and 1920. The back of her porcelain shoulder plate bears the impressed mark "Heubach 275.10/0. Köppelsdorf." She features a traditional kid leather body with pin-jointed construction and bisque lower forearms. Her sleeping blue glass eyes and open mouth are complemented by a blonde mohair wig arranged in side braids. This well-preserved doll is dressed in period-appropriate attire, including lace-trimmed socks and shoes. A classic collector's piece with excellent display appeal. **Shipping Notice: Due to the delicate nature of the doll's sleep eye mechanism, any shipped doll will arrive with the wig and skull cap removed, and the eyes secured to help minimize the risk of damage during transit. Please expect this if you require shipping. Because of the additional time and care required to prepare the doll for safe shipment, an additional handling fee may apply. These dolls are exceptionally fragile, and while we take the greatest care in packing and securing every item, shipping always carries an inherent risk. By requesting shipping, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of damage that may occur during transit.
