This lot includes a 1910 edition of The Little Book of Limericks by Wallace and Frances Rice and a 1969 seventh printing of The Lure of the Limerick by William S. Baring-Gould. The earlier volume features decorative Art Nouveau paper boards and internal floral borders, while the later landscape-format book contains illustrations by Aubrey Beardsley and Edward Lear. The Little Book of Limericks displays significant rubbing to the corners and edges with fraying at the spine ends and moderate page toning. The Lure of the Limerick has a dust jacket in poor condition with multiple large tears and losses along the bottom edge, though the underlying boards are well-preserved with light bumping. Internal hinges of the 1910 volume show some loosening.
