This group consists of several cloth-bound hardcover books and a staple-bound pamphlet, including an 1885 Milwaukee publication by A. Wormser and theological works by Ludwig Schneller. Internal ownership inscriptions identify members of the Orlebeke family of Oostburg, Wisconsin, as former owners, with one volume dated 1915. The collection also includes a 1978 presentation printing of the English pronunciation poem titled The Chaos.Condition varies across the lot, with the 1885 volume showing a frayed spine and failed inner hinge exposing the mull. The red cloth volume exhibits significant mottled staining and foxing to the covers. General wear including bumped corners, surface soiling, and tanned leaves is present throughout.
