This Protestant devotional features a complete cycle of sermons for Sundays and festivals bound in blind-stamped leather over wooden boards. The volume includes five raised bands and the remains of two metal clasps on the fore-edge. Handwritten German genealogical records from the 1860s are present on the front flyleaf.Height: 8.5 inchesThe leather binding shows significant scuffing and wear, with exposed board at the corners and cracking along the spine. One metal clasp is missing its strap and catch, while the interior shows moderate foxing and water staining. The front inner hinge is cracked, but the text block remains generally secure.
