A large decorative sculpture depicting a tiger in a dynamic prowling pose with its head raised and mouth open in a roar. The piece is carved from a grey and white marbled stone with a polished finish that highlights the natural swirled veining throughout. The sculpture features a stylized design with deep, parallel rhythmic grooves along the body, neck, and face to represent fur and muscle structure. The unpolished undersides of the paws reveal a matte, white, grainy texture. No maker marks, signatures, or stamps were identified during inspection.Height: 11 inchesLength: 18 inchesRear Height: 5.5 inches.Very good overall condition. Minor shelf wear and scuffing are present on the bottom surfaces of the paws. Small white spots visible on the surface, primarily on the tail, are consistent with natural inclusions within the stone. No chips, cracks, or professional repairs were observed.
