Polished Fossil Bowl, hand-carved from black fossil-bearing stone and featuring numerous embedded prehistoric cephalopod fossils dating back 400 million years. The striking contrast between the dark polished stone and light fossil chambers creates a dramatic natural display piece. Likely crafted in Morocco from fossil-rich limestone/marble. Very good condition with natural variations, fossil inclusions, and minor surface wear consistent with age and use. No chips or cracks observed.Height: 2 1/4 inchesDiameter: 8 inches.
