A large repousse decorated silverplate serving spoon that was used to serve berries A nickel alloy metal has been fashioned into an ornate large serving spoon. It was then silver plated with a gilt finish on the bowl. The bowl has and arrangement of different fruit, including a pineapple, a pomegranate, grapes, pears and more. A molded mark on the handle back reads EPNS A1 MADE IN ENGLAND. MEASUREMENTS 8 ¾ in (22.2 cm) long x 2 in (5.1 cm) wide. Weighs 3.5 oz. CONDITION There are no breaks, nicks, dents, or repairs. There is silver and gilt loss. It has still polished up. The spoon has shined up nicely. A useful, shiny serving spoon to decorate your next desert creation.
