A bookend in the shape of a tropical leaf that has been formed from a thick sheet of copper. The base of the bookend is designed to slip beneath a book, effectively securing books in place despite its light weight. The underside of the base features an aged brown felt backing for added stability. The bookend has no hallmarks or labels. MEASUREMENTS 4" (10.2 cm) wide x 6" (15.2 cm) deep x 6 ¼" (15.9 cm) tall. Weighs 10.7 oz (300 g) CONDITION There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or repairs. It has some wear on the bottom from use, and a nice, evenly aged copper patina. A fun and artistic bookend to add to a collection or use. It'd be great for a plant-lover. Period: 1930s Origin: United States Materials: Felt Dimensions: 4"W × 6"D × 6.25"H
