A very heavy and deeply cast pair of bookends in the shape of elephants. They are decorative and useful for keeping your books upright. The pair of bronze bookends have deep casting showing much detail. The design is of upright elephants that mirror each other. The elephants rest on a polished bronze with a sloping base. The bases have no felt. The elephants have a copper and verdigris patina. There are no marks or labels. MEASUREMENTS 6 in (15.2 cm) wide x 2 ½ in (6.4 cm) deep x 5 3/8 in (13.5 cm) tall. Weighs 6 lbs 5.4 oz. CONDITION There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or dents. There is quite a bit of verdigris on one of the bookends There is some spotting on the top surface of the base. There is no felt on the bases and one bookend has a name scratched on the base. Very heavy bookends to keep your books upright. Elephants to add to your bookend or figurine collections.
