A pair of heavy cast-iron bookends that feel almost as if they are in motion. I love the textures and Art Deco look. The pair of cast-iron bookends that have an artistic sculptural feel and look. The bookends have been given a copper patina. The backs have a molded dot texture. There is no felt on the flat bases. There is a cast mark on the lower back of each bookend that reads GALLEY SLAVES. MEASUREMENTS 5 ¼ in (13.3 cm) wide x 1 ¾ in (4.4 cm) deep x 4 ¾ in (12.1 cm) tall. Weighs 3 lbs 9.2 oz (1620 g) CONDITION The bookends are not chipped, dented, cracked or broken. There is wear to the copper patina, particularly on the flat background. A heavy, artistic pair of cast-iron bookends to add to your collection and use.
