A recently re-silvered Victorian coffee pot that has that over-the-top Victorian look from the finial to the feet. The coffee post has repousse bands at the neck and body. The lid has a pin hinge and has a small dent where it lands on the handle. The lid finial is a flower wreath. The pot rests on four elaborate floral feet with paws. There are no marks on the base but there is a raised silver oval which is probably covering the maker's mark. MEASUREMENTS 8 ½" (21.6 cm) long x 5 ¼" (13.3 cm) wide x 11 ½" (29.2 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lbs 9.7 oz (1180 g) CONDITION The pot has no breaks or cracks, and it shows little wear with just a few light scratches. The coffee pot was re-silvered and has much silver. There is a little dent in the lid where it hits the handle when opened. There are two bubbles on the bottom where the silver does not adhere perfectly to the metal base. The bottom of the interior has spots and discoloration. A very shiny, silvery coffee pot to use or add richness to your table or sideboard. Period: Late 19th Century Origin: United States Materials: Silver Finish Dimensions: 8.5"W × 5.25"D × 11.5"H
