This color etching by American artist Richard Rickson depicts a thrush tending to its nest with two fledglings. The naturalist scene features fine line work and stippling, accented by green leaves and white berries within a dark green oval mat. The work is pencil-signed Rickson in the lower right, titled Thrush at center, and numbered 3/250 at the lower left. A printed name RICKSON is also visible in the plate. The reverse bears a typed artist biography. Frame measures 21.5x 25.5 inches. The print is in good condition with no visible foxing or toning. The dark wood frame and double matting are intact, showing only minor shelf wear and light dust.
