This watercolor and gouache on paper depicts a male acrobat performing a handstand on a galloping horse. The work is executed in a loose, expressive style with a palette of orange, blue, and yellow tones. A signature reading Lagar isvisible in the lower right corner. The painting is presented in a black wooden frame with a cream-colored mat. The frame measures 13 x 16.5 inches. The paper shows overall toning and minor foxing consistent with age. There is slight undulation to the paper within the frame. The frame has minor scuffs and the verso paper is torn.
