A nonfiction history bundle featuring ancient civilizations and true stories from World War II. A nice reading or reference lot for history enthusiasts, students, homeschool use, or a home library. Books Included: 1. Mysteries of the Ancient World, National Geographic Society, copyright 1979, second printing 1985. Hardcover with dust jacket, approximately 223 pages. Richly illustrated with National Geographic photography. Topics include Ice Age cave art, Jericho and Çatal Hüyük, Egyptian pyramids, ancient India, European megaliths, Minoans, Mycenaeans, Etruscans, and Easter Island. Fair vintage condition. The hardcover itself appears structurally intact, but the dust jacket has substantial age and storage wear, including heavy edge and corner wear, creasing, scuffing, tears, peeling/chipping, discoloration and staining. The inside of the jacket also shows age discoloration and spotting. Interior illustrated pages appear generally clean and readable with normal age-related wear. 2. Pages show light age toning but appear intact and readable.
