This is a colorful book collection of vintage Disney Babies children’s books, featuring baby versions of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and other Disney characters. Several spines are marked “A Weekly Reader Book,” and the backs show Golden Books branding. Early-learning picture books that use familiar Disney characters to introduce preschool concepts. The back covers show activities involving colors, opposites, signs, weather, fears, smells, feelings, association, time of day and beginning vocabulary. The books have simple text, colorful illustrations and sturdy rounded covers intended for younger children. This is a particularly nice group for someone collecting the older Disney Babies Weekly Reader books as the titles cover a broad range of the educational series. The lot includes: 1. Baby Minnie — Come and Play. A Book About Association 2. The Big Storm — A Book About Fears 3. Baby Minnie’s Treat — A Book About Signs 4. Play Ball, Baby Minnie — A Book About B Words 5. Baby Minnie’s Busy Day — A Book About Time of Day 6. Disney Babies at the Big Circus — A Book About Opposites 7. Baby Daisy’s Good Idea — A Book About Feelings 8. Follow Your Nose, Baby Pluto — A Book About Smells 9. Where Is Baby Mickey’s Red Ball? — A Book About Colors Fair to Good vintage used condition, varying by book. The books remain intact and usable, and the illustrated covers and interior pages retain good color. There is moderate to fairly heavy childhood use, including rubbed and rounded corners, edge wear, cover scratches, scuffs, surface soiling, page-edge discoloration and general handling wear. Several books have noticeably worn spine areas, and at least one has paper loss, peeling and heavier damage around the spine and lower corner. The interiors shown appear generally complete and readable.
