Published by Little, Brown and Company. This copy is identified on the copyright page as the First Paperback Edition, May 2008 (ISBN 978-0-316-02496-9). It features the recognizable glossy black cover with a red-and-white tulip. Young adult supernatural romance following Bella Swan after Edward Cullen and his vampire family leave Forks, Washington. Bella’s growing friendship with Jacob Black introduces her to another supernatural world involving werewolves, while the story continues the romance, danger, and conflict established in Twilight. Themes include love, loss, friendship, vampires, werewolves, and supernatural adventure. Fair to acceptable used condition with substantial reading and age wear. The glossy cover has noticeable creasing, scratches/scuffs, rubbing, edge and corner wear, and small areas of surface damage, particularly around the spine. The book has a pronounced curve/warp from use or storage. Page edges are heavily yellowed/browned with visible spotting/foxing. Interior pages show age toning, scattered staining/discoloration, and some waviness consistent with possible past moisture exposure. Binding remains together and the book is complete and readable.
