This World War II era U.S. Army Air Forces navigation stopwatch was manufactured by the Elgin National Watch Company. The Type A-8 instrument features a high-speed black dial with white Arabic numerals 1 through 10 for the primary 10-second sweep and a 10-minute sub-dial at the twelve o'clock position. Diameter: 2 inchesThe stopwatch is in good overall vintage condition. The crystal exhibits light surface scratches, and the base metal case shows moderate surface scratching and minor tarnish consistent with field use.
