A hand-carved shell cameo pendant-brooch by M+M Scognamiglio, a renowned producer based in Torre del Greco, Italy. The oval carnelian shell features a cream-white relief carving of a young woman in profile with ornate curls and a floral corsage, set against a warm orange-brown ground. Height: 1 inchThe pendant-brooch is in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the hand-carved shell. The 14K yellow gold frame exhibits minor superficial shelf wear. The hinged bail, pin stem, and safety clasp are all in functional condition.
