1858 United States Seated Liberty quarter composed of 90 percent silver. The obverse features the seated figure of Liberty holding a liberty pole and cap, surrounded by a circle of stars and the date 1858. The reverse displays a heraldic eagle with a shield on its breast holding arrows and an olive branch, encircled by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and QUARTER DOl.
