1963 United States Franklin half dollar composed of 90 percent silver. The obverse features the profile portrait of Benjamin Franklin facing right, surrounded by the word LIBERTY, the motto IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 1963. The reverse displays the Liberty Bell with a small heraldic eagle to the right, encircled by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and HALF DOLLAR.
