1865 United States three-cent nickel composed of a copper-nickel alloy. The obverse features the coronet head of Liberty facing left, encircled by the text UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the date 1865. The reverse displays a Roman numeral III surrounded by a laurel wreath. Housed in a 2x2 coin flip holder with handwritten identification notes.
