A Radio Flyer Retro Model 38 children's foot-propelled kick scooter. The piece is constructed with a pressed steel frame, chrome-plated metal mudguards, solid rubber tyres, and rubber handlebar grips featuring vinyl tassels. The side of the main foot deck displays the white printed text "RADIO" alongside a graphic silhouette of a toy coaster wagon and the word "FLYER". The front steering column bears a vertical "RETRO" inscription above a stylised wing graphic. The design includes a curved step-on deck with a central friction grip insert, a front wheel beneath a chrome mudguard, and a rear wheel assembly. The rear axle extends to the right side, fitted with a smaller auxiliary stabiliser wheel. The handlebars feature ribbed brown grips with cream-coloured streamers. Dimensions: Handlebar height approx. 70 cm (read from tape measure showing inches). Condition: The scooter is in weathered, used condition. The original red painted finish is heavily faded to a matte pink hue with widespread surface dirt, scuffs, and abrasions. Significant surface rust and pitting are visible on the front and rear chrome-plated mudguards, steering column, and exposed hardware. The non-slip deck insert exhibits peeling, weathering, and material loss. The tyres and grips show signs of age and wear, and the vinyl tassels are stiffened and discoloured. The rear axle is equipped with a single right-sided stabiliser wheel, with no corresponding wheel on the left side.
