An electric table lamp designed in the hurricane style. The piece comprises a turned wooden pedestal base with a high-gloss honey-toned finish, supporting a copper-toned pierced metal shade gallery decorated with ornate scrollwork. The opaque white milk glass globe shade is designed with lobed sides and a flared, ruffled upper rim. It is embellished with transfer-printed floral motifs in shades of ochre and brown, set within scrolled oval medallions. The lamp is fitted with a clear glass interior chimney, a standard bulb socket, and a white electrical cord. Dimensions: Height approx. 47 cm to top of chimney, height approx. 42 cm to top of shade (measured against a ruler showing inches). Condition: The lamp is in good overall condition. The milk glass shade and clear internal chimney are free from visible chips, cracks, or repairs. There is light surface wear and minor patination to the metal gallery and wooden base consistent with age and use. The electrical components are untested and should be inspected by a qualified professional before use.
