DeMille King of Kings Opening Year. This extraordinary original 1927 movie theatre program was issued for Sid Grauman’s grand prologue presentation of Cecil B. DeMille’s silent film epic The King of Kings at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California. Printed during the iconic venue's inaugural opening year (the theatre opened May 18, 1927 with The King of Kings as its premiere attraction), the front cover depicts a detailed sketch of the landmark building's exotic facade, while the interior lists the full cast—including H.B. Warner, Dorothy Cumming, and Joseph Schildkraut—along with live prologue tableau details and an advertisement for Paralta Studios on the back cover. Published by Grauman's Chinese Theatre, 1927, offset printed ink on yellow/cream paper stock, marked with printed program text, cast list, and venue branding, measures approximately 5.5 x 7 inches closed.
