Award Broadside Ephemera Poster. Issued in 1904 by The Victor Safe & Lock Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio, to celebrate winning the Grand Prize at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis, this rare 12-by-18-inch (unfolded) advertising broadside poster is printed as a multi-color offset lithograph on heavy folding paper stock with gold metallic ink highlights and facsimile signatures including Exposition President David R. Francis. The vibrant front features neoclassical allegorical figures, the official exposition seal, and prominent typography, while the reverse unfolds to show detailed promotional content including official Award Ribbon certificates, exhibition booth photography, and Japanese commendations from the 1903 Osaka exhibition, offering exceptional crossover appeal for collectors of 1904 St. Louis World's Fair ephemera, antique safes, and early 20th-century advertising. The broadside presents in fair to good antique condition, retaining vivid colors and fully legible text and graphics on both sides despite age-appropriate flaws such as original folding creases as issued, minor paper loss and splitting along the middle fold line, light edge wear, corner creasing, and faint water-staining and foxing along the right margin.
